With Fall comes another school year for Confederation College and our students. However, as we all know, this year has been like no other. While we welcome our new and returning students this Fall, we know they will face challenges that the global pandemic has presented to us all.
The Emergency Community Support Fund, a partnership of the Thunder Bay Community Foundation and the United Way of Thunder Bay, has provided over $1.3M in grants to date to organizations around the city. In the first round of funding, over 20 local charities received funding for various projects that ranged from food security programs to building/technology upgrades.
